Scenic Beach State Beach is known for its wild, native rhododendrons, and stunning views of the Hood Canal and the Olympic Mountains. Sea stars and oyster shells cover the beach at low tide. Near the small town of Seabeck on the Hood Canal, Bald Eagles and Great Blue Herons, along with a few other birds, gather to feast on the fish that are trapped in the oyster beds during low tide.
