Mustang region
The Kingdom of Mustang seems frozen in time. A part of Nepal that extends onto the Tibetan Plateau, Mustang is the former Kingdom of Lo and is now part of Nepal. Mustang is known as a "Tibet outside the Tibetan Border", where its religion, culture and history now stand as one of the last truly Tibetan cultures today.
