The Ojai Music Festival preluded its 65th season with an inaugural celebration on June 4th and 5th 2011, celebrating the grand re-opening of Ojai’s cherished Libbey Bowl. The First Blast Gala and Concert opened the festivities with acclaimed soprano Dawn Upshaw (also the Festival’s 2011 Music Director). The Day of Music: Ojai’s community & arts celebration showcased the Ojai Valley performing arts groups in free concerts throughout the day.
